We will use the web browser as a performative medium to interact in real-time with online environments and their content.<\/p><p>Explore different forms of visual composition using online content in real-time by coding in JavaScript, HTML and CSS. At the end of the workshop participants will discuss the role of \u2018algorithmic choreographies\u2019, how they affect us and how we can engage in new forms of critical making.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>What you need:\u00a0<\/strong>Please bring your own laptop.<\/p><p><strong>Workshop experience level:\u00a0<\/strong>Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS or some level of familiarity with computer programming and tools more broadly, is desirable but not mandatory.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>**<\/p><p><strong>Bio<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Joana Chicau<\/strong>\u00a0is a designer and researcher \u2014 with a background in dance. Chicau\u2019s research seeks to increase public understanding of computational processes through embodied and choreographic approaches.
