Call for Papers

Following the positive impact of the 1st FLUP Researchers’ Meeting on promoting scientific exchange among peers (October 2023), the 2024 meeting will place particular emphasis on interdisciplinary and/or collaborative research projects, as well as those supported by digital methods and techniques with potential applications in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Submissions should address the relevance of these projects in relation to the challenges posed by the evolving processes of knowledge production and dissemination in these (inter)disciplinary fields.

Organized by the Centre for Digital Culture and Innovation (CODA) and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Porto (FLUP), in partnership with FLUP’s 8 Research and Development Units (FLUP I&D), the second edition of the Research Meetings aims to further strengthen interdisciplinary, collaborative, and digital practices. The event will offer interconnected spaces and platforms for sharing and discussion, open to the entire FLUP scientific community, including researchers, professors, and students.
