At FLUP I&D, visitors will be able to explore the poetic installation “Árvore” by Rui Torres, which will take them on an immersive journey through the word. In addition to exploring various visual proposals integrated into research works in digital humanities, which present literary landscapes and semantic universes, helping to problematize the relationships between literature, culture and sustainability.
The event will also feature a photographic tour of the natural spaces of the Botanical Garden of the University of Porto, as part of the national stage of the international photography contest Wiki Loves Earth. This is a global initiative of the Wikimedia movement, coordinated in Portugal by Associação Wikimedia Portugal (https://lnkd.in/drFEwEpW), which aims to photograph protected natural landscapes around the world.
On this tour, participants will be able to explore and document the fauna and flora of the areas surrounding the Botanical Garden, promoting awareness of the urgency of establishing fair and balanced relationships in our common home.
